One skein is enough for a headband —here I used yarn with a yardage of 125 m / 50 grams. For this pattern, you’ll need to know chain stitches, double crochets, single crochets, and how to work several double crochets together. The headband can be easily adjusted to fit any head circumference. 

This gift visibly comes from the heart. You can knit it as a washcloth, dishcloth, or even a potholder and then give it as a gift. It’s sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. I’ve experienced that many times already.

The cloth is very easy to knit with the pattern. It consists only of knit and purl stitches.

With less than one skein of cotton yarn or a cotton-bamboo blend, you can knit yourself a zodiac dishcloth or washcloth. Of course, it also makes a great gift for friends, as long as they’re interested in their zodiac sign. Knitting it is very easy, using only knit and purl stitches, so even beginners can shine with a great result. Here is the example for the zodiac sign "Aries" — all the other zodiac signs are also available in my shop, plus an affordable value set for all 12 motifs.

You also need less than one skein of yarn for this motif, and it is just as quick and easy to knit. In our home, the paw cloth serves as a dishcloth for the cat bowl, so there’s no chance of mixing it up with the regular dishcloth ;-)

You can crochet 4–5 star-shaped tealight holders with 1 skein of cotton yarn. I used Catania glamour here. It’s a cotton yarn with a silver glitter thread in it. This makes your tealight holders look especially festive, perfect for the Christmas season.

Note: only use LED lights in the tealight holder!
