Without something woolly in my hands, an evening watching TV would be far too boring for me. Most of the time I have several projects. Rug "Spirella"
It is crocheted with multiple strands from an inexpensive large skein of acrylic yarn. The rounds build on each other nicely. A crochet chart is included, but you’ll soon find you no longer need it. The back is made non-slip, since it is a rug.





Doorstop "Sandbag"

You’ll need this all year round. It makes sure that no doors slam shut in a draft. If you just want to quickly take out the trash and don’t want to take a key with you, simply place the doorstop in the doorway. It weighs over 4 kg and reliably keeps the door open. You can use it outside or inside.

Today I’m sharing some gift wrappings that are super easy to crochet and are therefore perfect if you want to do a little crocheting while watching TV.


The candy jar with a knitting (or crocheting) snowman can be crocheted in one TV evening. All you need are a few pieces of leftover yarn.  It makes an original container for your (homemade) candies. Once they’re gone, you can light up the jar with a string of lights, use it to store leftover yarn, or give it away with other candies.



Another candy jar, this time a penguin mom with her baby. You can use leftover yarn for this one, too.



And here’s another snowman, this time as a bottle cover. You can crochet this one almost without looking, so it won’t interfere with your TV viewing.
