Working with gradient yarns and Bobbel yarn cakes is not only fun, but addictive—you just want more, and it simply makes you happy :) :)
Here I’d like to show you a few options for beautiful shawls from my shop:

Autumn Stole Illusion

The pattern repeats and is very easy to remember! You can decide the size of the shawl yourself. The shawl shown is approx. 190 cm wide and approx. 50 cm high.

Glacier Ice Stole in a Mix of Patterns

The stole is crocheted in five different pattern styles.
Each pattern is written out, and there is also an extra crochet chart at the end of the pattern.
You can decide the size of the shawl yourself. The shawl shown is approx. 160 cm wide and approx. 60 cm high.

For doll clothes, I like to use a little novelty yarn for the neckline, the hem, or the sleeves. This gives the pieces a very special touch.

This festive black dress is crocheted with black yarn that has a silver thread running through it. This makes the dress shimmer beautifully. The lower hem is decorated with an edging made of eyelash yarn. There is also a matching hat, which is edged with eyelash yarn as well. The doll wears a silver clutch with it.

The hem, sleeves, and neckline of this skating costume are also decorated with eyelash yarn. However, this is sponge yarn, which is actually too scratchy for clothing. But the little dolls don’t mind, and it looks incredibly decorative. I also used the same yarn for the earmuffs. You can also make the ice skates using the pattern.

Eyelash yarn was also used for the  “Peacock Princess” evening gown , here in a print with shades of blue. There is a matching fan and headdress. As you can see, this dress suits all the little dolls, no matter what hair color they have. Each one looks enchanting and mysterious!

Gradient yarns or Bobbel yarn cakes have the big advantage that the colors are already right there in the ball. So you can knit or crochet in a totally relaxed way, and the play of colors appears all by itself from the ball.

I hope you enjoy looking and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina

Baby bunting bag, swaddle sack

Gorgeous colors, aren’t they? And they all come straight from the soft merino wool ball. The pattern is called entrelac. Here we knit a soft and warm baby bunting bag. You can make it in 2 sizes. The wide cuff folds double around baby’s sensitive little tummy, and the little legs can kick around in it to their heart’s content.

Endless Crochet Blanket
Here we crochet with one Bobbel yarn cake. The pattern is nice and easy to follow and consists of relief stitches. The colors once again come straight from the ball of yarn. The blanket will be as large as you want, or as far as the Bobbel yarn cake will go. You can also use several Bobbel yarn cakes one after another.

Poncho for Little Dolls
This is a lovely project for your leftovers. You can quickly crochet a few doll clothes from them. The poncho is designed simply, so even beginners can crochet it. You can also make a collar, a loop scarf, or a hat to go with it.

The Antje triangular shawl is a beautiful craft project for gradient yarns, but it’s also suitable for solid-color yarns. The crochet pattern is easy to follow and repeats every two rows.
You can find the pattern in my store, Blickfang-Design.
