For doll clothes, I like to use a little novelty yarn for the neckline, the hem, or the sleeves. This gives the pieces a very special touch.

This
festive black dress is crocheted with black yarn that has a silver thread running through it. This makes the dress shimmer beautifully. The lower hem is decorated with an edging made of eyelash yarn. There is also a matching hat, which is edged with eyelash yarn as well. The doll wears a silver clutch with it.

The hem, sleeves, and neckline of this
skating costume are also decorated with eyelash yarn. However, this is sponge yarn, which is actually too scratchy for clothing. But the little dolls don’t mind, and it looks incredibly decorative. I also used the same yarn for the earmuffs. You can also make the ice skates using the pattern.

Eyelash yarn was also used for the
“Peacock Princess” evening gown , here in a print with shades of blue. There is a matching fan and headdress. As you can see, this dress suits all the little dolls, no matter what hair color they have. Each one looks enchanting and mysterious!
