I knitted these two wrist warmers for my husband and me, using leftover merino yarn. They serve us well when we’re sitting at the computer in the office.

The wrist warmers are knitted with a slip-stitch pattern and are very easy to make. You should have some knitting experience, then you’re sure to enjoy them.

You can find the knitting pattern here.

This sporty two-piece outfit for small teddies (25-30 cm) can be knitted from small leftovers. Even if you’re still a beginner with basic skills, you’ll be able to make these pieces very easily.

With it, you can certainly make a teddy lover very happy at Christmas.

You can find the knitting pattern here.

This mini sleeping bag for small teddies or dolls up to 20 cm is wonderfully suited for small leftovers. For a toddler, it’s sure to be a gift that makes their eyes light up. And it even has another great effect: if the little darling is already lying in bed with the sleeping bag, it’s sure to be much easier to lie down with them.

The pattern includes two models, both of which are very easy to knit. Even if you have little knitting experience.

You can find the knitting pattern here.

Colorful leftover yarn (e.g., cotton scraps or leftover sock yarn) is perfect for the little monster Kugelrund. Here you can also easily use up leftovers that otherwise don’t quite seem to fit, because the more colorful, the better! Bright colors suit this little monster especially well!

You can crochet these pot holders in a classic two-color design or in a colorful mix using only leftover yarn. Either way, they look great and aren’t just useful helpers in your kitchen—they’re also beautiful decorations!

The mini mitten is super quick and easy to crochet. Very well suited as a beginner project for crochet beginners.
And it’s also a wonderful way to use up leftover yarn!

here is the pattern

This pattern offers a wonderful way to use up your scrap photo cardstock—or scraps of similarly sturdy decorative paper—in a beautiful way. Since these balls come in three sizes, you can use both slightly larger and very small paper scraps.

The balls measure approximately 7, 11, and 17.5 cm. To cut out the individual pieces, you should be comfortable using a craft knife, but assembling the balls is a breeze.

You can crochet lots of little things from leftover yarn that you can give as a hostess gift or small token of appreciation when the opportunity arises. These are projects that you can usually finish in an afternoon or evening. It’s best to always make a few in advance. That way you always have something to do between bigger projects, while also using up your leftovers in a practical way.

For these Christmas egg cozies  you’ll need leftovers in the typical Christmas colors red, green, gold, and white, some skin-tone yarn, black, and possibly fluffy yarn for the beard and hair. Even anyone who doesn’t like eggs can use these cute figures as table decorations.

You can also use the Christmas colors gold and red for these pretty heart bookmarks, but of course other colors work just as well. The bookmarks are very easy and quick to make.

A little polar bear keychain is also quick to crochet. Here you only need a little white cotton yarn and a tiny colorful leftover for the scarf.
Tip: If the recipient is an ice hockey or soccer fan, you can crochet the scarf in their favorite team colors.

Even small cotton leftovers are enough for this crocheted dishcloth, since you can easily change colors after each row. For this pattern, you’ll need to know single crochet, chain stitches, double crochet, and half double crochet. The pattern is shown as a crochet chart and is also explained in written form.

Even for tiny baby booties, small leftovers are often enough.

The booties are knitted using a set of double-pointed needles. The loop stitch pattern is shown as a knitting chart, and I’ve also included pictures to make it easier to knit them.

Have you accumulated leftover yarn?
You can use it to crochet a beautiful heart with a spiral look.
You can crochet the heart in five colors with the yarn of your choice.

I have a mini pattern for your tiny scraps of leftover yarn in all colors:

Fridolin the Fish

You can use the fish as a keychain, bag charm, or mobile ornament. Fridolin the Fish looks super cute in any color and is crocheted using a magic ring, single crochet, and slip stitches.

If you’re in the mood for a super-quick project for your leftover-yarn box,

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting it.

You can conjure up really pretty things from leftovers. The nice thing is that you only need a little material and you finish quickly. Here are a few examples from me.

I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina

2 Colorful Little Buckets for Odds and Ends

They are crocheted from leftover cotton yarn. We don’t have to sew in any ends. A large plastic yogurt bucket provides the shape, which we practically cover with yarn. It looks pretty on the desk and is useful too.

Cardigan for Dolls

We knit these charming little cardigans as a top-down raglan in one piece—from leftover sock yarn or other yarns in this weight. The length is variable.

6-Piece Doll Clothing “Young Fashion”

Yes, doll clothing can be crocheted too—maybe you’ll like these designs. Each piece only needs a little yarn, and in the end everything can be combined wonderfully.
