do you actually have special weekend projects, or are they simply the projects you’re working on anyway?

I don’t have any specific weekend projects. Just specific vacation projects sometimes, when space is limited and I can’t bring that many skeins with me.

I don’t have any specific weekend projects either. I’m always working on something with my needles, and I just carry on with it over the weekend.
I do have specific “I’m on the go” projects—simple needlework for in the car or when visiting people. Things where I don’t need a pattern anymore and can just keep stitching away. Spiral socks or dishcloths work quite well for that.

I tend to have projects that span several weekends—including the rest of the weekdays.
