Hardworking little helpers: Do you ever just not feel like doing crafts?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear busy little helpers,
is it sometimes the case that you don’t feel like doing any crafts, or not really?

Really not in the mood?
No—at most, I get a little frustrated when something doesn’t go the way I want it to.
Then I just move on to another project or tinker with something else.

Oh yes, it definitely happens that I feel like doing little or no crafts at all, but usually it’s because I’m not feeling well physically—like when I’m in endless pain.

I’m always torn between crocheting and drawing. With my limited free time between work, two small children, household chores, and other obligations, I often have a hard time deciding. Usually, I go through phases lasting several weeks or months where one of them takes precedence.
Of course, my motivation always goes up with good sales and positive feedback, and goes down when things aren’t going so well.

That's how I feel too, Pepi.

It’s not that I’m completely unmotivated, but I do switch back and forth between crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Although my lack of enthusiasm for sewing has been going on for a while now.

I’ve never felt like I didn’t want to do it at all. I’d love to spend the whole day doing some kind of handwork.

Right now, I’m spending a lot of time (by choice) in the kitchen, so sometimes I only have time for a few stitches in the evening—but the needles are actually always clacking away then. At least a few minutes before going to bed.

For me, there just aren’t enough hours in the day for all my ideas and projects. 

I never feel like that!
I have so many different hobbies that involve wool.
I spin, felt, crochet, weave, and knit. Of course, I don’t do everything at once, but I always have a project going on on each of my tools at the same time (often even several). That way, there’s always something I feel like doing right now.
Most of the time, the real challenge is that I can’t decide which one to work on next ;-)
