I just signed up here recently, and I could already use some help, but I have no idea which forum to ask in... Maybe there’s a kind soul here who can help me out:
I received a (leftover?) ball of gradient yarn cake in shades of pink, along with a note that says “1000 m, 4 strands, continuously mottled”; it weighs 180 g. It seems a little strange to me that 180 g is supposed to have that much yardage? And I don’t have any information about the fiber content or the recommended needle/hook size. Plus, I’ve never worked with this kind of yarn cake before anyway. Can you help me figure out what I could make with it? I’d love to crochet something, but knitting is fine too.
Thank you so much! I look forward to your ideas!
Monika
Thank you very much, CreatOwl!
Then I'll assume that my leftover yarn still has about 700 m of yardage.
The question is what I can make with it, since I'd need more for scarves or shawls.
Best regards
Monika
You should take a look at the patterns—some work well with this yarn. I was also looking for a project that doesn’t use too much yarn, and I found one that works.
