Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for the lovely birthday wishes. Olaf turned 50 on Sunday, and Anton turned 5 yesterday.

We celebrated Olaf’s birthday in a relaxed way with a couple who are friends of ours. It was cozy and lovely. Early yesterday morning, we set the breakfast table nicely and woke him up. 


In the afternoon, my parents and my mother-in-law came over, and we opened the rest of the presents 


Then, unfortunately, there was a big drama for Anton. He also got a remote-controlled car. We went out to the garden and tried it out. Unfortunately, I left the door open, and Olaf’s 50th birthday balloon flew away. 
😪 Anton cried so much. It was really hard on him. We were planning to go out to eat anyway, and there’s a store next to the restaurant that sells those kinds of balloons. So he got to pick out a new one. And the evening was saved. But even today, he’s still talking a lot about the beautiful balloon from Dad.


We’re having the party on Sunday, and I’m going to make sure all the balloons are secure here. 

Wow, Anton has really grown up!! I can still remember the day you wrote about his birth. That’s such a beautiful picture! Thanks for letting us share in the special moments of this birthday. It’s really great that your men have their birthdays on the same day. It’s like a family gift from heaven.

I got a balloon like that when I turned 40 and loved it so much. It brought out the child in me. :)

So I hope you all have a lot of fun celebrating this weekend, and that all the balloons stay with you until they deflate on their own.

Not everyone gets to celebrate a birthday together with their dad.
I’d also like to send my very best wishes to your two men, and thank you so much for sharing the photos and letting us take part in it all.
Kids grow up so fast, but it’s also lovely to watch them grow and develop.

One of my granddaughters also has her birthday on the same day as her dad.
And my other granddaughter has her birthday on the same day as her grandpa!

And my first granddaughter shares my birthday—the second was born two days after my husband’s birthday. We both think that’s great.
