Floral Motifs

Do you like floral motifs? Which ones do you like best?

I love floral patterns. Since I started sewing a few months ago, a whole new world full of floral patterns has opened up to me. There’s something for every taste. I especially like roses or other unique or delicate blooms. But not garishly colorful—the colors always have to harmonize nicely with each other, and the design shouldn’t be too busy.

I’ve already sewn a few floral fabrics and would be happy to show them to you. People are constantly commenting on the bloomers in picture #4, especially to my daughter-in-law. Other moms like them too—and that makes me happy, of course. The changing pad that my daughter-in-law bought on Etsy features this exact same floral pattern. I’d seen it before and was especially happy when I found the exact same fabric online. That’s when I knew for sure that the new parents would love it.
