I spotted this today while out for a walk. Now I need to take a look at our fence to see if we can spruce it up too 😄

Dear Inge, I hope you feel better soon. It’s probably the change in weather. The weatherwoman said today that a cold front of polar origin is on its way. I don’t need that (yet), but there’s not much I can do about it.

We’re getting together with the neighbors on Sunday for a barbecue. It’s all happening in their big garage—they’ve got the heater on, but it’s still cold from the floor. So the only thing that helps is dressing warmly. I’m going to bring my felt seat cushion!

It’s wet here—really wet—it’s pouring buckets; you’d get soaked just walking to the trash can out front.
I’m sure I’ll finish the Halloween decorations and can start on the Christmas ones—I already have the yarn, and I’m alarmingly on schedule. :-)

And the fence is great! What a wonderful idea!

I also wish you all a relaxing weekend, despite the chilly weather.
As long as we all have yarn for our crafts, nothing can rattle us.
Grab a hot cappuccino, tea, or hot chocolate, curl up on the couch, and let the relaxation begin.

We’re planning to get away for a few days on Sunday—using up the rest of our vacation time. We’re heading to Wernigerode. I’ve heard there’s a miniature park there that I’d love to check out.
Otherwise, we’ll pop into a café and work our way through all the different kinds of cake ☕🍰👩
Then we’ll take the little tourist train to Schierke. I’m really looking forward to it.
Still need to pack my suitcase.

First off, I hope everyone who isn’t feeling so great gets back on their feet soon.

That wool fence is awesome! I’m already known for covering everything in wool that doesn’t get out of the way fast enough... grin.

I wish everyone here a cozy, warm weekend with loooads of wool and the right needles. Or fabric and the right tools, for that matter.

I’m going to curl up on the sofa—with it being 10 degrees outside, I don’t feel like going anywhere. Plus, I’m not having the best day today; the sudden shift to cold weather is getting to me. But I’ll be fine. After all, there’s warm, woolly clothing.

Monika, I’m also having a hard time with this sudden cold snap. It happened so fast. We were out for a long walk at noon today. I already had my hat on. Then it was fine.
