Dear users, dear authors,
do you enjoy pottery, ceramics, or concrete work?

I’d love to, but there really isn’t enough space here—it’s a bit more involved, after all. There are also those clay-like mixes that just need to go in the oven, but I haven’t tried those yet.

I’d love to work with concrete again, but I just don’t have the time right now. There are so many other things that need to be done

Before I got into crocheting, I used to work a lot with Ceramofix (casting powder) and then paint the pieces. That was fun.
I had various molds made specifically for this purpose (motifs, picture frames, masks).
This mixture was similar to plaster, but with fewer air bubbles. Eventually, I didn’t have enough time to keep up with all my hobbies.

I also did crafts with this air-drying papier-mâché mixture. It was so light, easy to shape, and easy to paint. I used it to decorate my chipboard boxes.
I’ll take some photos when I get the chance.

I’d love to work with concrete again sometime.
My former neighbor also asked me to make her a new birdbath. I’d once made her one using a leaf from our bluebell tree, but unfortunately it broke during the move.
I have the materials, but I just don’t have the time….
