Wow, so much to celebrate!
I also wish everyone a wonderful weekend. It’s already more than warm here and very humid again, so the party mood is a bit subdued—the motto is just to hang in there.
I’ve finally finished knitting the blanket—all that’s left is the head, tail, and one little paw—but the main thing is, no more warm wool on my legs.
But I’ve got a glass of ice-cold rosé ready; we’ll sit out on the balcony tonight and try to spot a few Perseids. We’ve got a few modest wishes, and maybe they’ll come true. :-))

We’re also just enjoying the weekend, no matter what holidays are coming up. We make our own. :)

The weather is great—exactly how summer should be. Not too hot, sunny, and of course, the garden is perfect for spending time outdoors. Everything else can wait until it rains again (hopefully).

I hope you all have a great time doing whatever you have planned.

Thanks, Josefa. I wish all of you here a wonderful weekend as well—things are still quiet and peaceful here. Starting Monday, our youngest granddaughter will be staying with us for a week, and this coming Saturday, she’ll already be turning 12.
