Dear friends 

Thank you so much for your birthday wishes. Unfortunately, my husband was very ill and I had to take him to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. It was a close call. Our birthdays were overshadowed. Now, hopefully, he is recovering, and my worries have eased a little. 

Oh, that’s too bad—especially on a day like this.
