I love knitting and crocheting RVO pieces.
For one thing, you can
try them on and
adjust them if needed.
For another, especially with children’s items, you can
lengthen the sleeves if they have become too
short.
For children, I always knit the sleeves a little longer so that at first they can be folded over a bit at the
cuffs; eventually they fit, and when they have
become too small, the sleeves are unraveled up to the elbow and lengthened.
New cuffs are added, and the new sleeves are also made a little longer for folding over.
If the sweater has a pattern, it’s hardly noticeable.
Below you’ll find one of
Lina’s favorite sweaters, which was knitted as described above and has now ended up back with me again so I can lengthen the sleeves.
You’re welcome to feel sorry for me, since the cuffs in the cable pattern really are a lot of work. 😊

A little more elaborate in the design of the
RVO line is my
