Wishing all vacationers and summer lovers a wonderful weekend.
I'm glad,
Inge, that your granddaughter is keeping you company for a few days. How old is your youngest granddaughter? And is she interested in sewing too, or does she just tell you what she wants and then you sew it for her? Or do you bake something together, or what kinds of things is she interested in?
Veronika, yes, just take small steps with your husband. Do what works right now, and don't get impatient. Everything takes time to get used to. And summer is only just beginning. Once the walker is there, the two of you can go for a stroll more often. In our neighborhood, lots of older folks go for walks this way too ... and then they stop by our place and enjoy our garden and listen to our frogs. You become more modest and enjoy things more when your options become fewer. In any case, I hope you have a lovely time at the beer garden this evening.
I'm about to spend some time on my current yarn project. Everything is ready. My husband is taking care of the cooking today, since he went fishing yesterday. In return, I watered the garden for hours yesterday. I just still have to pick strawberries today. Tomorrow I want to make jam.
Best regards, Ina
