What little girl doesn’t love playing prince and princess? With these fairy-tale doll dresses, doll moms can transform their little darlings into princes and princesses and immerse themselves completely in their dream world.

Princess Dress for Dress-Up Dolls
Of course, a princess dress like this has to sparkle and shimmer! That’s why the outer dress is crocheted with thin glitter yarn. For the underskirt, I used a scrap of foil jersey or sequin fabric. It doesn’t need to be hemmed and is gathered slightly at the top, then sewn by hand under the outer dress. So you don’t need any special sewing skills or even a sewing machine. If you like, you can also decorate the dress with small beads or rhinestones.

Prince Costume for Male Dress-Up Dolls
Well, a beautiful princess like this naturally needs a prince worthy of her status! The pants, jacket, and cap are also crocheted here using glitter yarn. For the blue-and-black costume, I inserted fabric sleeves into the jacket. It’s very easy to do. But of course, the sleeves can also be crocheted, just like on the red-and-white costume. The feather on the cap is made from fringed yarn. You can also use a real feather. That’s how you transform male dolls into fairy-tale princes.

Glittering Tealight Holder
A festive table looks especially elegant when decorated with these beautiful star-shaped tealight holders. Here, cotton yarn interwoven with glitter thread was used. The tealight holders can be used for all festive occasions, not just at Christmas, but also for a baptism, First Communion, wedding, or a special birthday.

Some of my doll dresses most certainly add a touch of glamour. Would you like to take a look? Then here you go—here come my dolls all dressed up for the big evening. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina

Ball gown with tulle underskirt

The dress is crocheted in one piece. The tulle underskirt is sewn underneath the dress. Because of the sewing, the dress is a little more elaborate to make, but in the end it is all the more beautiful and unique. All doll mommies love this dress.

Princess dress
This dress is knitted. It is very cuddly, light, and fluffy. You can pair it with a sleeve scarf, but it also looks fantastic when worn without one. My dolls love it very much. If you look closely, you can see that some dresses also have tiny rocaille beads worked in. You can do that too if you like. It’s very easy.

Dreamy princess dress

This model is crocheted. You can crochet the skirt in different versions (without beads, with lots of rocailles, or with only large beads). All in white, it also makes a perfect wedding dress. I threaded some tulle onto an elastic band; this separate tulle underskirt gives the dress more volume.

What’s wrong with decorating with glitter outside of Christmas, too? Made in colorful flower shades, these rosettes make beautiful summer décor!

The rosettes have a diameter of approx. ø 9 cm and are very easy to make with a little crafting experience.
