Off to London! If traveling isn’t in the cards right now, you can “knit” your way to London—with this placemat. It’s knitted using the double-face technique, so both sides look beautiful and the motif really stands out. Detailed instructions for the double-face knitting technique are included, along with a template for a coaster as a test piece.

Warm feet for summer babies, too



For these knitted booties, you should have some experience with a set of double-pointed needles, as they are knitted in the round. The pattern is created with slip stitches. 

The yarn usage is so low that leftover yarn can also be used up nicely. Depending on yardage and needle size, the booties have a sole length of 9.5 - 10.5 cm. 

Knit these footed rompers for your doll or newborn baby. They’re comfortable and easy for toddlers to put on and take off. They feature elastic thread at the top of the waistband.

The pattern includes two sizes, so you can dress dolls ranging from 43 to 55 cm in height—and even newborns. There are also tips for other sizes and even for cuffed pants without feet.
