Harem Pants + Sarouel Pants + Bloomers

Dear users, dear authors,
what do you think of harem pants, sarouel pants, and bloomers? Do you find them comfortable? Would you wear them out in public? Are these pants difficult to sew?

Harem pants look great on some people—like hippie types :-) They wouldn’t be my style, though. I love simple bloomers, but unfortunately they’re not for me either—I’m too short for them.

I feel the same way as Imelda—I’m too short for these pants, too.

I think it really depends on the outfit and how the person usually dresses.

I generally think these types of pants are great, and I like wearing them too. (Though not the ones where the fabric is so low in the crotch, if you know what I mean :D) 
Personally, though, I only think they look good on me when paired with a tighter, simple top.
Pants like that, paired with a shirt that’s too loose—and especially with messy hair—can quickly come across as unkempt and “sloppy.” 

For me, these are pants that just don’t work at all—at least those harem pants, which have a name here that I don’t want to say publicly; it’s not exactly appropriate ;-)

Ha, that’s funny—it’s exactly the same here! No, I don’t like them either, but I’m also on the shorter and curvier side—maybe that’s why.
