Donation Day

Today I had another drop-off day at the Kindertafel. Mr. Labus was once again very happy about our donations and also thanks us for the fabric donation so I can sew. The items will go to Ukraine on the next transport.

Exactly, Monika, that’s one of my biggest motivations: the children’s faces when they are given these things as gifts. My father always used to say, “Remember one thing: a child’s little hand is filled so quickly — it doesn’t take much,” and he was so right.

It’s really amazing what you create: beloved stuffed animals, great clothes… and above all, you bring a sparkle to children’s eyes and put smiles on their faces ❤️

Dear Inge, you can really see how happy Mr. Labus is with your generous and lovingly sewn creations. He’s very fortunate that you enrich the food bank so wonderfully with your creative items. No donation of clothes or toys from a discount store could ever do that. Everything is hand-sewn with love—you can just tell! You enjoy doing it, and you’re doing so much good with it. We all have the utmost respect for your tireless volunteer work.
