April Weather

Typical weather here for us at the moment. It doesn't settle.

We have a little bit here, too... and now it's just started snowing again :-o ... I want spring

You’re not to be envied. Here, on the other hand, it’s very cold and windy. Temperatures drop below freezing at night. Every evening, I wrap my young apricot tree in a warm duvet cover so the blossoms don’t freeze. I hope that’s enough. It’s supposed to get down to -5 this weekend, which is really bad for the blossoms.

But after this cold spell, spring is definitely on its way!!!

On Thursday, I moved two turtles from the fridge to the greenhouse—it was supposed to get a little cooler again. And now the snow. Both have burrowed in, and I’m keeping an eye on the thermometer.

April, April—it doesn’t know what it wants! 

A week ago, we were still sitting out on the patio. Today I brought my pots (oleanders and hydrangeas) back inside.

He knows exactly what he wants here: to get wet! It’s pouring rain.

Same here too. Perfect weather for crafting 

Just finished

It’s stormy today—more windy than usual—because the neighbors’ patio furniture is flying around. On the bright side, it’s not raining every now and then.

Things are flying around and through our garden, too. I’ve already found my Easter eggs from the Easter tree in my neighbor’s front yard.
