Lavender

Do you know what’s even better than daisy ointment?! Lavender ointment!
I made it from sunflower oil, beeswax, lanolin, and—of course—lavender flowers!
It smells so wonderful and works wonders on rough feet and hands, scrapes, and even blemished skin. And Lotti bit her lip so hard it bled while she was running around—it even helps with that.
Plus, lavender is supposed to have a calming effect.

Dear Nina, you’re a real herbal fairy and make so many great things yourself using ingredients from nature. That’s the way to go! Don’t always just buy some random ointment from the pharmacy. Just harness the power of nature. But it does take a bit of work, and you have to know what you’re doing. I’m so glad your lavender ointment smells so wonderful and works wonders on chapped skin.
