Poor little koala

Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this? My poor little darling’s nose is happily crumbling away. He must be almost 40 years old. I got him a few years ago from my grandma, who had gotten him from my dad many years ago—back when I was still a baby.    

Carefully remove the old nose completely and either stitch on a new one or get another plastic nose online or at a craft store, glue it on, and then he'll be *beautiful* again

I would carefully embroider over the little nose with some black (sturdy, thin) yarn.
