Beautiful pictures—for me, spring is the most beautiful season. When everything starts coming back to life, and the birds are all back now—it’s just lovely

There’s already so much going on here in the morning with the birds. All that chirping. Wonderful. And Mr. Blackbird is courting Mrs. Blackbird… she’s still playing hard to get… let’s see how long that lasts. 

It’s still bitterly cold in the morning, but in the afternoon I often look out the window and enjoy hearing the children’s laughter on the lawn.
The kids are already running around energetically.

I live in beautiful Wein/Mainfranken, where it’s naturally mild and gorgeous.

Thank you, Inge, for sharing. The blossoms aren’t quite that far along here yet.
But the hedge is already showing little green leaves.
From our balcony, we can watch the birds. A pair of blackbirds and two turtle doves are constantly perched in the tree, making their calls.

There’s just a light breeze today, but the sun is already strong. It’s cold in the morning, and by the end of the workday, you’re sweltering in your thick jacket.

I have the weekend off now. If the weather’s nice, we’ll go for a bike ride. We’re not used to temperatures like this at this time of year anymore. But it’s lovely.

Gabi, your ladybug is beautiful. I haven’t spotted one yet.

Things are starting to bloom in our garden. Since the forecast calls for great weather over the next few days, it’ll probably really take off.

This camellia is already 2.5 m tall. The first blossoms have just started to open. But spring will really be in full swing here this weekend, too.

Spring is slowly arriving here, too.

There are already quite a few flowers blooming here—it has been nice and sunny for a few days now, after all.
I went for a walk this morning; the air is wonderful and the sky is a clear blue, which is quite rare here in Cologne. The nights are still pretty cold, but at noon it’s already lovely to sit outside. People are pottering about in their gardens everywhere—you can really tell how much everyone is enjoying the end of the gloomy, gray, wet weather. I love spring!

These are the same blossoms as on the shrubs I photographed. It really shows what a difference it makes when you live in a milder area—a good 9 days later.
