I also wish you and all the visitors here a lovely, cozy weekend. Right now, I’m really enjoying dressing up my granddaughters’ little dolls. I still have a few ideas waiting to be put into action.

We’re planning to leave for vacation on Monday afternoon. So over the next two days, I’ll be gathering everything the “family” needs. I’m not quite sure yet what kinds of yarn I want to bring along. It’ll probably take me a while to decide.

I don’t have anything planned here. The weather’s bad, and the physical therapist gave my husband some exercises to do, so he’ll be working out.
To make sure I have enough energy for that, I’m going to bake a cake tomorrow, then do some crocheting, read, and just relax.

It’s my husband’s birthday today, and we’ll be celebrating a little tomorrow.
Since I had a late shift today, tomorrow I’ll bake my favorite fruit tarts, prep the lasagna, tidy up a bit, set the table, and then it’s time for coffee.

There are six of us, and we’re all vaccinated. I actually have the weekend off—yay!
On Sunday, I plan to sleep in and do some crocheting.

Stay healthy, everyone, and have fun with whatever you’ve got planned.

This lousy weather is really getting to me again—yesterday and the day before, we had temperatures between 10°+ and 12°+, and last night the temperatures plummeted, with the result that today I can feel every single joint in my body. When that happens, I can’t do much of anything and am stuck in bed. I hope the weather stabilizes soon—then I’ll feel better again.
I’d like to digitize and embroider some ITH figures this weekend; I have a few ideas in mind, but they’re not going anywhere, so I’ll just take it one step at a time.

Oh, Veronika, I’m so sorry—my Mona went to cat heaven on July 26, 2020, and I still miss her every day.

I’m sorry that you’ve lost your animal companions. 
Do you think you might want to give a lonely animal a chance at adoption someday, or is it too soon for that?
