So today I used up some leftover jersey fabrics. After taking a little afternoon nap, I was full of energy again :-), the gray hat with the butterflies is reversible

How quickly do you manage to make a hat? It usually takes me a whole evening to make one... or with a simple pattern, I can sometimes manage two hats...

I cut out the pieces at 2:30 this afternoon, and then posted the little hats here at around 6 p.m. That’s down to my training — it goes that fast. I chain-sew them, and my coverstitch machine takes care of the rest :-) I’ve had these patterns in my stash for several years now, so I just have to pull them out and I’m ready to get started.

Oh, Inge, you’re our super sewing talent! Not only did you learn it professionally, but you also let us share in your skills. I also admire your dedication to helping others. You could have just let the scraps sit in the box. But your hats, sewn with so much joy and love, will soon be flying off the shelves at the Kindertafel. You bring joy to others through your work. I think that’s truly commendable! I like the reversible hat with the butterflies best!
