Sewing / crocheting / knitting a button placket

Dear users, dear designers,
how can you sew / crochet / knit a beautiful button placket as easily as possible? Tell me about it.

For a well-made button placket, the be-all and end-all is that it runs evenly, i.e. the buttons and buttonholes are accurately aligned one below the other.
I took a photo of the button placket from my exam piece; we had to make both bound buttonholes and keyhole buttonholes. Bound buttonholes are often used on coats (loden, wool, trench coats), because they show to better advantage there

A real button placket is definitely a project for advanced sewers, but you can also sew what’s called a “fake button placket.” To do this, you can appliqué a piece of contrasting fabric to the front neckline of a T-shirt and sew on some buttons ;).
