I’m kind of out of steam at the moment somehow—okay, that happens to me sometimes, so I just take a break :-)

I’m revising a pattern.
Since I can do that best by making the project again, I’m crocheting a tablecloth once more.

This time with thinner yarn:

I took a break from sewing today and am back to knitting. I’d like to give away a few dishcloths for Easter and am trying out different yarns.

My purl stitches (wrong side rows) don’t turn out very nicely; now I’m using thinner needles and trying to hold the yarn more tightly.

I also like mercerized cotton best right now, but I haven’t tested this yarn in the kitchen yet. And I’ve also read that this yarn isn’t supposed to be very good for dishcloths.

At lunchtime today, I went to the yarn shop and found a cotton yarn I hadn’t seen before (unfortunately also mercerized) that’s washable up to 60 degrees in some really great colors.

So now I’m just knitting a little bit

I’m currently working on a triangular shawl.
Since I sprained my finger over the weekend because of my clumsiness, I’ve been taking a break since then.

Last night I wanted to repair a pair of pants with the sewing machine... But I gave up after spending an hour unsuccessfully looking for the cord... (no power, no sewing machine :p) 

But tonight I’ll get back to it :) 

My sewing machine is in for service.... It had its quirks,.... I hope it works better afterward....
Right now I’m trying out my serger, serging T-shirts for my grandchildren... everything that involves the sewing machine has to wait....
I have to take a break from knitting—my hands go numb, especially at night.... I’ve had that before.... I know the feeling.... so I’m spinning again.... I had huge problems with the bobbin yesterday... the thread got “tangled up” and I can’t find it anymore.... now I have to go look for it....😋
