Where should the markers go?

Hi,

In the following pattern: ***Link removed, Mod***
from the section further down, "INCREASES FOR THE YOKE," the 4 markers are supposed to be moved. I want to knit size S. I just don't understand where the markers now need to go. Could someone please explain this to me in lots of detail?

there are actually only two possibilities. But that should be described in the pattern.

1. I place the marker “between two stitches” or:
2. I place the marker “in the stitch.”

The marker always determines where the increases should be made.
