I hope you have a great weekend. How are you all doing right now?

Here’s to a great weekend for everyone. The workday’s over—hands in the air, it’s the weekend...

The first snow.... 

Since I’m on vacation starting Monday and we’re going somewhere snowy, I’m feeling really great.
Now I have to make such important decisions as how much yarn to bring and which kinds to take.

You’ll need an extra suitcase for the yarn, plus a list of all the yarn shops along the way to your vacation spot and near your vacation spot. :-)

I’m looking forward to the weekend, spending time with my yarn and knitting needles. :)
We’re supposed to get some snow here, too, and I’m looking forward to that as well.

The sky is black, the fridge is full, and there’s plenty of yarn in the house… here’s to a cozy weekend!

As of noon today, we can finally cook and bake properly again.
The electrician hooked up our stove.

I checked with the electrician a few days ago—he also works for the housing association—and got a call today asking if I was home.

Marlene, that’s great! I’m so happy for you. Which cake are you going to bake first? Or would you rather make something savory, like tarte flambée or pizza? 

I’m doing okay again today, but I really felt the snow we got yesterday and overnight in my bones this time. I even told my husband to please pull the seven knives out of my lower back—that’s how sharp the pain was yesterday and last night. That’s why I was already in bed shortly after 9 p.m. yesterday.
Since I’m feeling better again today, I took the opportunity to put fresh sheets on my beds—who knows what tomorrow will be like.
Now I’m knitting my scarf; I’ve set aside the jacket I’ve also been working on for now—it just doesn’t appeal to me at all at the moment. When I was out shopping this week, I spotted a nice yarn cake in the display at K.K.—I just had to take it home, and now it’s becoming a scarf

Good morning, everyone!
Some snow wouldn’t be bad, but we don’t have any to offer. It’s just cold here. But no matter what the weather is like, it’s always “knitting weather” for all of us. I’m already looking forward to getting my knitting needles out later. But first, I’m going to enjoy a leisurely breakfast :-) Later, with my coffee, I’ll still have some gingerbread and stollen left over from Christmas.

Make yourselves comfortable—maybe after your winter walks—and enjoy whatever you’re doing. Dear Inge, I hope you get well soon and keep your sense of humor.
