I’m going to do a little knitting, then get a birthday present ready.

In the afternoon, I’ll go for a short walk. It’s not raining right now, and the sun is fighting its way through the clouds. 

It’s not a holiday here at all, but I can still wish you a nice day!
Yes, it really does look like it’s going to stay dry today—how nice!

I think today is a holiday in only two states; everyone else has to work. But just one more hour, and then I’m off for the day—which is nice too 😊🤘

Everyday life must be something great—otherwise, there wouldn’t be so much of it. :-)

Here in North Rhine-Westphalia, it’s not a holiday.
BUT, the sun was shining. That was wonderful.
I needed a circular knitting needle of a certain size, but it wasn’t to be found in my needle stash. Everyone knows the feeling: the yarn is right here, the project is firmly in my head… and that needle just isn’t there. Online shopping doesn’t help me in this situation either!! So I set off on foot (I haven’t driven a car in over 3 months) to the nearest yarn shop. I got the needle there—oh, how happy I was! Now that I was already at the yarn shop, there’s just no way—whether you want to or not—to walk out without some yarn :)
Then I hurried home and started the new project. All of this was supposed to happen by 2 p.m., since I’m an avid biathlon fan. But then it got postponed until tomorrow because of the ski jumping. But whatever—the new needles are clacking away, and I feel soooo good after those 14 km in the sun.
Couldn’t be better.

It’s a holiday here in Baden-Württemberg.

I’ve been looking into a new electricity provider and wrote a nice letter to the other one. I hope others are doing the same.
