Well, sort of, Josefa. In some ways it was okay and good, but there were also times I could have easily done without—let’s just say it was a mixed bag.
Today, for example, is another one of those days—because of this lousy weather, I’m having pain in my lower back again and can barely walk. But I have to live with it, because complaining won’t do any good—it is what it is.
Definitely satisfied. As a family, we were spared from COVID. What more could you ask for.
We have to find a new electricity provider, since ours is insolvent. Unfortunately, we found that out online. Sadly, not from the provider. I’ve already written to our municipal utility with our electricity usage.
Despite everything, I wish you all a Happy New Year
Well, given the big “C” that has largely dominated our lives, I can’t really say I’m satisfied. The year was neither particularly good nor particularly bad. There were some nice moments worth remembering.
We’ve mostly stayed healthy—that’s the main thing. I’m hopeful for 2022.
I wish you all a Happy New Year and, for the coming year, good luck and, above all, good health.
2020 and 2021 were among our worst years—and that’s without even factoring in the pandemic. So we’re slowly starting to hope for a better year again, but as has already been said, complaining doesn’t help—you have to make the best of whatever comes your way. And so far, the really great years still outnumber the bad ones for us, so things are okay.
All in all, I’m satisfied with 2021.
The year brought us an unexpected move within town—
from a noisy apartment building (with a playground right under the balcony) to another building owned by the housing association, which has quieter neighbors.
Plus, there’s always someone there to put the trash cans out on the street for everyone.
We don’t have a balcony anymore, but we do have a better view from some of the windows.
I could have done without the broken index finger.
I’ll just have to get used to the fact that the finger probably won’t straighten out.
Well, there are worse things.
I don’t need a repeat of 2021, but it was a good year.
We and the kids all stayed healthy. Because of the restrictions, we had a lot of time together. I had plenty of time for the garden, and since my partner was working from home, we spent a lot of time going for walks. I really enjoyed that.
