Rain. Plenty of it, every day... does anyone else need a few thousand liters?
I’m sure there are regions that would be happy to have it, but the Cologne Bay area isn’t exactly dry—we really have enough water, but it’s still coming down day after day, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon.
Phew, the sun is finally shining again today—hopefully that puddle in the fruit cellar will dry up! (We’ve never had that happen there before.) The thermometer reads 11.3°, which I’m sure the laundry hanging out on the veranda will appreciate. For me, though, it’s still a little too early for spring!
We’re getting plenty of sunshine here again, but the next rain clouds are already on their way—or so my husband says. He built himself a weather satellite receiver, so he can always see what’s coming our way. As a ham radio operator, he can and is allowed to build things like that.
