This weekend I have to finish making, wrapping, and addressing my Christmas cards.... there are about 150 of them, for all my meat customers.... 

What’s this about snow? We only ever see that on the TV news.

Since I can’t walk safely anymore and am afraid of slipping, I’m glad when there’s no snow on the ground—even though it’s very pretty to look at.

Yes, there’s no snow here either—just pouring rain, which is really unpleasant. But it’s perfect for getting cozy with some tea and candlelight, cake, a book, and my crochet supplies—and it’s cool enough for a glass of mulled wine on the balcony, too.
