Working with bouclé

Dear users, dear authors,
what is bouclé and what do you make with it?

Bouclé is a fabric usually made of wool, and its characteristic features are the loops and knots on the surface. My red short coat, for example, is made of bouclé, and because of this construction, bouclé is also very warm—the air trapped between the knots and loops acts like a layer of insulation. I like bouclé :-) but only as a jacket or coat; as a sweater, it would be way too warm for me

I really like bouclé yarn, too. Yes, the little knots make it a bit thicker to work with, but that actually has its advantages. With this yarn, there are sometimes thinner spots in the yarn and sometimes thicker ones, which I find very varied. That way, knitting never gets boring.
