Hardworking little elves: Are you Santa’s hardworking helpers?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little elves,
are you the hardworking helpers of Santa Claus? If so, what are you working on at the moment?

I’m currently working on a set for my little nephew; he’s 1 year old. 

My sister absolutely loves the things I make, and every now and then she sends me links to great fabrics as a not-so-subtle hint ("In case you’re ever looking for a gift idea again...") 

I’m really happy that it’s all going over so well! 

On the side, I’ve also been crocheting Jax the dragon (for almost a year now; I bought the pattern here on January 7 :D)... One of my aunts asked for him, and she’s supposed to get him around Christmas. (That’s the plan, anyway :P) 

I also made a Christmas sweater for my father-in-law, who’s an absolute Christmas junkie. I’m really proud of that sweater! My first self-sewn piece of adult clothing, with a hood and everything. :)
But he’ll get it a bit earlier, for his birthday on December 10, so he can still wear it a little during the Christmas season. (Don’t be surprised - it’s a "selfie" of me, taken at around 2 a.m. or so when the sweater was finally finished :D)


Let’s see whether I can finish one or two more hats as gifts. But I think so! 

I’ve been helping Santa, and last night I finished the hat for my grandson. I’ll stuff it into his boot on St. Nicholas Day. 





The kids are also getting a photo album from our last weekend together, which we spent in the Allgäu—I’m almost done with that.

  And my son-in-law brought me five sweaters, all with open seams, asking if I could salvage them. I’ll be mending those over the next few days as well—many of them have already had stitches come undone, which I’ll have to pick up again. They’ll be waiting for him under the Christmas tree.
