Crocheted gift bags can be reused year after year. Even oddly shaped gifts can be wrapped this way—simply yet lovingly—and you’ll save a lot of wrapping paper.

 3 Gift Bags with Christmas Motifs

The bags pictured above are crocheted using two colors and the tapestry technique. (Don’t worry—the patterns explain exactly how to do it!)

However, if you’d like to keep it really simple, I recommend these gift bags for St. Nicholas Day or Christmas::

They can be crocheted in any size you like. Here, Christmas sock yarn was used. The pattern comes from the ball of yarn. The appliqués are crocheted separately and sewn on, (but can also be left out).

With these gift bags, the recipient will know right away that your gift comes from the heart. The set includes patterns for two different sizes and designs. Both bags are knitted in doubleface, so they can be used on either side.
