Tweed is made of 100% sheep’s wool and is a material that keeps you very warm and is also water-repellent to a certain extent. Tweed is and has been produced and worn extensively in Northern Europe, mainly in the British Isles. Tweed is very sustainable, and my favorite is Harris tweed, but unfortunately, I can’t really afford it. These days, tweed comes in many colors, and there are also very modern jackets and other items made from it.
