Tweed besteht zu 100% aus Schafwolle und ist ein Material das sehr warm hält und auch bis zu einem gewissem Grad Wasserabweisend ist. Tweed wird und wurde viel in Nordeuropa hauptsächlich in den britischen Ländern hergestellt und auch getragen. Tweed ist sehr nachhaltig und mir gefällt am besten der Harristweed, aber den kann ich mir leider so garned leisten. Mittlerweile gibt es Tweed in vielen Farben und auch sehr modern verarbeitete Jacken usw.
