Dear users, dear authors,
in spring and summer you don’t need thick coats—you can wear something a bit lighter, and that’s one of the reasons why spring and summer are so popular.

This thread is for anything that’s loose, light, and breezy. If you start making these projects now, you’ll have enough not just for standout pieces to spice up your wardrobe, but maybe even for a whole new wardrobe.
Have fun making them.

The first rays of sunshine are calling us outdoors!
It’s already too warm for a thick, dense hat, but it’s still not quite time for your little darling to go without headwear!
Why not crochet a lightweight little hat in a shell pattern that still protects the ears and little head, but is no longer so warm that your little one sweats underneath it.

Now the time has finally come—the sun is shining again and growing stronger!
Soon it will be time to wear light, airy clothing again!
Crochet a little dress or a tunic from your favorite yarn—for the still slightly cooler spring days, it looks pretty paired with a long-sleeved shirt and tights or leggings; when it’s hot outside, the little dress can be worn on its own, or the tunic simply with a pair of shorts.

The crochet dress "Svenja" is very well suited for spring days and can be nicely paired with leggings, a T-shirt, or a bodysuit. The pattern was written for sizes 86 to 128. Crochet dresses not only look beautiful, but are also very comfortable to wear. Of course, the dress can also be crocheted in many other colors.

Then I’d also like to show you my pattern for this spring hat. With the two small flowers, it’s ideal for girls and, thanks to its simple design, pairs very well with jackets. This way, children’s heads are still perfectly protected in spring without them having to sweat. The pattern is written for sizes XS (from about one year) to XL (adults).

Casual, airy, light ... - that's how I would describe this summer poncho. It’s a clever figure-flatterer and looks absolutely lovely with a dress or jeans. You only need 200 g of yarn, a knitting needle, a bit of patience, and my beginner-friendly knitting pattern. Feel free to take a look at the poncho in white in the item photos for the pattern, too. I hope you have lots of fun making it.
Best regards - Yours, Ina

Oh, I have another gem of a poncho. This one is ideal for spring. Its special effect comes from the beautiful cable pattern. For it, you’ll need 400 g Cool Wool Big (120 m/50 g yardage) or another yarn with the same yardage, 25 g Lenja Soft (85 m/25 g yardage), 1 circular knitting needle size 4 (60 or 80 cm long) and 1 crochet hook size 3.5 — and my knitting pattern. On 20 pages with lots of photos I show and describe in great detail how the poncho is made. The pattern is also suitable for beginner knitters, since the cut is very simple and I show you everything in detail. I hope you enjoy making it.
Best regards - Yours, Ina

And the third in my poncho lineup… is this one with fringe. Ponchos are especially eye-catching during the transitional seasons—they flatter your figure, of course, and are also casual and practical. Just throw it on, look trendy, and feel comfortable. You’ll need 500 g of 6-ply sock yarn, a knitting needle, and my knitting pattern. In the 13-page guide, I explain and demonstrate exactly how to knit it, step by step. The pattern is absolutely suitable for knitting beginners . Anyone can follow along and succeed. I hope you have lots of fun making it.
Warm regards—Ina

A one-of-a-kind piece for the “season” and every occasion!
Just the right thing for your knitting collection. This beautiful feminine vest is made from small cables—knitted with knit and purl stitches. Depending on what you want to combine or vary it with, it adapts to the look. Whether feminine, festive, or sporty. Thanks to the casual cut (sizes 40 to 44) and the generous armholes, you can wear it casually anywhere, as a layer or over something.
Difficulty level: Medium
Note: Half a pattern repeat consists of 6 stitches, approx. 3.5 cm. Experienced knitters can therefore adjust the desired size themselves.
Materials used: 250 g (or more) cotton blend yarn with bamboo by Rellana (Bambus Plus), yardage 120 m per 50 g. 1 knitting needle size 4 If you knit loosely, size 3.5; if you knit tightly, size 4.5.

A gorgeous, airy accessory for spring and summer is my new crochet design, Dance with Dolphins.
It’s a beautiful, large shawl that you can also wear as a sarong at the beach. The pattern evokes vacations and the South Seas—like dancing with dolphins.

Crocheted with variegated designer yarn or delicate cotton yarn, it’s a real eye-catcher!

You’ll need:

  • 1,200–1,300 meters of designer yarn (lace yarn also works—just adjust the amount of yarn accordingly)
  • Crochet hook of the appropriate size

Finished size: approx. 200 x 90 cm
Only basic crochet skills are required to make this shawl (slip stitches, single crochet, chain stitches, double crochet, etc.).
The pattern has been tested and checked for errors. It spans 21 pages and includes a detailed row-by-row description and detailed crochet charts.

My tip for this summer: An airy little poncho is a MUST-HAVE! I love garments that are versatile and adaptable: This poncho can be worn with a skirt or dress, as well as casually with jeans! You can wear the poncho point diagonally to the front, to the side, or at the back, depending on what you like. With a crochet cord, the neckline can be gathered, or you can gather the poncho point upward. So there are plenty of variations and ways to play around with it. The knitting pattern is described for sizes 36/38, 40/42, and 44/46; I used a hand-dyed yarn from Malabrigo. The poncho is knitted in a simple lace pattern, with a border crocheted on at the end. So grab your needles—it’s worth it!!
Warmly, yours, Annette
