For my socks, you’ll need sock yarn with a yardage of 430 m/100 g
Total amount used: 100 g in pink and 100 g in multicolor.

You can find more information via the relevant link by the image, such as size, stitches, crochet hook, etc.

Knitting pattern for spiral socks - Spiral socks are knitted without a heel. Thanks to the pattern, the sock adapts to the shape of the foot and fits across many sizes. These socks are popular with children and are often worn in rubber boots.

You can knit a lot with sock yarn. It’s especially ideal for children’s clothing. It washes well and keeps you wonderfully warm. My grandchildren love their sock yarn clothes. Here are a few examples. Maybe you’d like to try making one of them.

These leggings for toddlers are knitted from sock yarn and grow with the child for a while—from ages 3 to 5, because they still fit my granddaughter. They’re easy to knit if you’ve knitted before.

This children’s sweater with a collar fits 4- to 5-year-olds and is easy to knit—with almost no seams. Every sweater is unique, because the pattern of the yarn is different every time.

These knitted pants with straps are also made from sock yarn and fit from about 1 year old up to at least 2 years old, as they grow with the child thanks to adjustable straps. Nothing can slip down, so the tummy and back always stay nice and warm. The pants feature a pretty cable pattern on the sides, which makes them something special. Recommended for experienced knitters.

Sock yarn is also great for knitting shawls. Frühlingszauber is knitted in 2 contrasting colors with light, varied stitch patterns.
The stitch patterns are beginner-friendly and explained in detail.

Sock yarn is relatively fine, so it’s wonderful for making doll clothes. Here are my suggestions for you. You’ll find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the headings. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina

Don’t feel like making just socks out of sock yarn? How about a beautiful crochet shawl for fall?! With my crochet pattern for the asymmetrical “Herbstzeit” shawl, you can make a beautiful shawl using sock yarn. The pattern is simple and easy to remember, and it’s doable even for shawl or crochet beginners. The simple pattern is also perfect for particularly colorful or heavily mottled yarn.
