my birthday fabrics

went fabric shopping today, I had received quite a bit of money and also a voucher for fabric, today I put it to use-

from my hubby I got this great pack of pure sheep's wool, it's 4 m, [image removed] I'm going to sew myself a housecoat from it as a reversible coat, and for that I
chose this fabric, the one with the whales in the hexagons [image removed]

the red one will become a winter jacket for me, the brown will be the lining.
the colorful blue one is going to become a sleeveless vest, then also 2 packs of sewing machine
needles and chamois leather for the soles of my cozy house slippers; for those
I want to use the sweatshirt fabric on top

it must be a dream to be able to buy so much fabric—just like wool would be for me. My mom always loved browsing through fabrics, too. :)

You’ve bought some lovely fabrics. I’m curious to see the sheep’s wool fabric—what you’ll create with it and how it sews.

I have to hold back when buying fabric, otherwise I’ll end up with way too much.... 🙈 I keep seeing such beautiful fabric... First I have to use up what I have... only then will I buy new fabric....
