A lovely October outing

To celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, we took the open-air cable car up to the Stanserhorn. From this popular mountain destination in Central Switzerland, you have a fantastic panoramic view from 1,900 meters. Here are a few pictures:





The lake in the last picture is Lake Lucerne with its unique shape!

Thank you all so much! Yes, it was lovely—and for once, it wasn’t so exhausting to reach the summit! (We’d made it on foot twice in previous years.) Of course, we weren’t the only ones taking advantage of the beautiful fall day, but after a long wait in line, we even made it into the open-air upper section of the gondola—a truly special experience.
