What helps with itchy wool and itchy clothes?

what can you do if wool or clothing is itchy?

Just kidding—it often helps to hand-wash the finished knitted piece with a mild shampoo, rinse it well, and then put it in the freezer overnight. So far, that’s tamed every stubborn piece of wool and made it soft for me. Roll the wet garment in a towel and place this roll in the freezer overnight. Take it out the next day and let it thaw SLOWLY; otherwise, the wool might break.
