What's that supposed to mean? :-)

This is the sole of Natalija's giant XXL children's shoes. I want to know why the sole on mine always curls up. I counted the stitches, and they don't match the pattern!

there are several options here.
I hope everything is crocheted correctly—I mean the stitch count, especially the increases. Unfortunately, your photo is too small to be able to see that.

Possible solutions: maybe you crochet too tightly at the beginning and more loosely later? Here I recommend crocheting the first 3 rows with a larger crochet hook (+ 2 or 3 sizes). Another solution: crochet fewer increases. Try leaving out about 4 increases in each row (from row 3–4 onward).

P.S. I just took another close look at the picture :-). You can see the mistake! The tip (and that’s what we crochet the increases for) is shifted counterclockwise. That means you start the increases too early. So first check the stitch count.

In the pattern: crochet 2 sc into one stitch.
