what are you working on today?

Dear Josefa, I’m not working on anything today! At least, nothing craft-related. Whenever I finish a project, I go back to the usual things that come up or have been left undone. That’s why I’m just browsing through the forum right now to see what’s been going on.

I spent today untangling some yarn.

I just cut out some gaiters because I can’t fit into my ankle boots anymore—my feet have gotten too stiff, and I can’t bend my feet forward enough to get them past the toe box. So today I asked Aunt Google if there were any alternatives, and lo and behold, I found what I was looking for. :-)

Still working on pumpkins.......

This is my latest one—not crocheted, but “upcycled.” It used to be an orange, somewhat worn-out plastic pumpkin. I painted it with chalk paint and embellished it with a lace doily. 

I finished my door wreath. I left out the leaves and made a bed of moss instead, so Mausi has a softer place to sit...
