I hope everyone here has a lovely, sunny weekend, too. We’re going for a nice walk in the woods in summery temperatures.

My son is coming to visit tomorrow afternoon 😍
and we’re planning a long walk through the woods. I’m hoping for good weather—otherwise, we’ll just walk through the rain and then curl up in front of the fireplace with our knitting...

Mine will be very relaxed; my husband has his birthday tomorrow, but we’re only having a very small celebration, because on the 10th we’ll be having a big party—that’s when I turn 70, and we’ll be celebrating both birthdays with our closest family, meaning my three daughters and their partners, and my five grandchildren, two of whom I haven’t seen in a good 18–20 months.
