Sales Figures for Amigurumi Patterns

Hi everyone,

As part of my business, I’d also like to sell amigurumi patterns. My question is: How many sales can I roughly expect in the first year? Something like “about 10–20 per month” would be more than enough for me.

Unfortunately, no one can answer that for you :) It could be anything from 0 to 10,000. 

I also think it might be more than difficult to give numbers....
I’m “just” a buyer myself, and for me, sometimes I buy very few patterns and other times I buy a whole bunch at once... 
It’s similar for many people I know; it just depends on what’s “trending” with the kids (or their parents) at the moment...

You can positively influence the sales of your amigurumi by optimizing your photos and product descriptions.
Patterns with dark images and cut-off corners or incomplete product descriptions usually fall short of sales expectations.
As soon as you’ve uploaded your first pattern, the authors’ forum will be unlocked for you. There you’ll find plenty of helpful tips and information.
