Do you like fall?

Dear users, dear authors,
which season is your favorite?

Yessss, it’s my favorite season of the year—I love fall so much, even more than summer. I’m a true fall person, too :-)

I absolutely love fall! But especially October—the “golden October.” Everything is colorful, the sun still shines often, and you can finally wear cozy scarves...
I don’t like gray November quite as much anymore. By then, I’m slowly starting to look forward to December and the Christmas season.

Actually, I like every season. They all have something special about them :) 

As long as it’s not too wet and cold, I like fall. It’s always a joy to see the colorful displays that Mother Nature conjures up for us.
I don’t like November at all. For me, it’s the worst month of the year.

We don’t really have distinct seasons anymore, if you think back to how it used to be.
Do you see it differently?

After such a hot summer, it’s nice to enjoy the cool weather. The sun really doesn’t agree with me—when walking the dog, I always had to look for shady paths. That’s finally over now—the sun isn’t beating down anymore, and hiking and walking are finally fun again. 

I really love fall, too. For me, spring and fall are the most beautiful seasons—not too cold and not too warm. That way, I can do more outdoors in nature.

Oh yeah! When the sun slowly dispels the last wisps of fog and makes nature glow… When I was a kid, we used to burn leaves and yard waste every fall, and I can still smell that characteristic smoky scent today (back then, environmental protection wasn’t such a big deal yet!). A beautiful fall day in the mountains is also wonderful, when the snow-capped peaks rise into the clear sky above the brightly colored larch trees…

Every season has its beautiful moments. 
I like the snow in winter (but not when it’s icy), even though here in the south we have to go looking for snowflakes.

Spring, when everything in nature awakens.

Summer, which I spend only in the shade.
 
And autumn, when the leaves rustle on the ground as you walk through them.
