dear little helpers,
what are you working on today?

I’m still working on my shawl. I spotted a mistake this morning and had to unravel 2 rows.

The rows are already so long that I can’t just say, “I’ll just quickly crochet one row…”

I’ve finished knitting my scarf, but I still need to steam it a little. I’ll post pictures once it’s *presentable* ;-)
My next project is already in the starting blocks. I got some gorgeous yarn from a friend this week, and I want to knit a cardigan with it. I’ve knitted this pattern before, but I’ve lost so much weight since then that I could practically fit a roommate in it with me now. It’s perfect for at home when I’m cold, because I can snuggle right into it, but there’s absolutely no way I’d wear it out in public anymore. This time it will be knitted in a gorgeous rusty red and a good three sizes smaller—that’s the cardigan I’m practically drowning in now ;-)

I unraveled my knitted shawl again. It was actually supposed to be 160/180 cm, but at a width of 140 cm, it was already 95 cm long at the back. That was clearly too much and too pointy for me, so it was back to square one.
Next time I use this yarn, I’ll make something else.
Sometimes that’s just how it is: when you’ve been given yarn as a gift (2 big blue bags full), you can’t always make something with it right away.
@Inge: Your yarn has a lovely autumn color; I like it very much. I’m looking forward to your new jacket.

Right now I’m working on a pattern. But since my husband is on vacation, I’m not getting very far because I keep getting distracted. I’ll be glad when he goes back to work next week ;-) and I can crochet and write in peace.
