Beach finds

As many of you already know, I’m a passionate collector.......

So naturally, that includes when I’m on vacation at the beach



I collect everything the sea gives me



And so I have quite a few shells in a large box and in many jars



I discovered a heart made of seashells while browsing the web. So I took the lid of a wooden box and arranged the seashells into a heart shape. I used a hot glue gun to attach them all together, and in the end, this sign came together.



I’ll add a hanger at the top; my daughter will get it for her birthday in October to hang in the pool area on the patio.

I still have lots of seashells—do you have any other ideas? Show us your creations.......

that looks great! It’s amazing how different all the shells look. No two are alike. You’ve created a beautiful piece of art!

I’ve never done any crafts with shells myself. But I do have a decoration idea for the wall: a fishing net with lots of shells woven into it. You can buy them ready-made, but of course it would be even nicer if you made it yourself. And, since we’re all yarn lovers, we could crochet various sea creatures and hang them in the net—for example, seahorses, starfish... :-)

I’m looking forward to more ideas.

The idea of a net is good. I still have some very thin yarn in a box, and it would go well in my yellow-and-brown bathroom.
