Spooky things for Halloween:


Bat String Lights
String lights aren’t just suitable decorations at Christmas time. Especially now in fall, when it gets dark earlier, you can create great effects with them. The little bats look really spooky with their glowing eyes!

Candy Jar / Halloween Lantern
This one also uses light: an empty jam jar is crocheted around with this skull pattern. Filled with candy, it makes a great little gift to bring to a Halloween party, and when it’s empty, you can put an LED tea light or a string of lights inside to use it as a lantern.

In Mexico, skulls are painted in bright colors. This colorful skull is modeled after a “Sugar Skull” like that. But if you want it even spookier, you can also crochet the skull “all natural.” You can then light up the hollow skull from the inside too.
